Together for our community
At Festival Country Lotbinière, we believe that music is not only a unifying force, but also a powerful lever for supporting our community. Each year, we commit to giving back to those who make a difference in our region by supporting various local organizations.
In 2024, nearly $40,000 was donated to fund promising projects. In addition to financial support, we are forging links with key partners such as the MRC de Lotbinière, the municipality of Saint-Agapit and the Cœur Villageois citizens' group, helping to build a festival that is rooted in its community and focused on the future.

Volunteers are at the heart of our festival. In return, we reinvest in their initiatives, enabling them to finance their activities and enrich our community.

OUR BENEFICIARIES
In 2024, the Festival also donated nearly $10,000 to numerous organizations, in addition to funds for volunteers. Here are just a few of the initiatives supported:
- Lotbinière Relay for Life: A united fight against cancer, supported for several years.
- Jonquière Canadian Cancer Society: Organization of a 12-hour country line-dancing event to raise funds.
- EJQ - Entraide jeunesse Québec : Helping young people aged 12 to 25 to develop their independence.
- École Secondaire Beaurivage : Support for students on their humanitarian trip to Costa Rica.
- Activité Reconnaissance du Bénévolat : Annual celebration of Lotbinière's volunteers, highlighting their essential contribution.
- Firefighters Burn Foundation: Support for a 10-hour country dance fundraiser.
- Opération Enfant Soleil : Organization of raffles to collect donations for sick children.

SUPPORTING ARTISTS
Every year, the Festival Country Lotbinière showcases emerging talent, reflecting the authenticity and cultural richness of our community. In collaboration with SODEC (Société de développement des entreprises culturelles), we play an active role in promoting local artists. Thanks to its funding, SODEC supports creators at every stage of their journey and contributes to the cultural growth of our region. Together, we are working to give emerging artists greater visibility and strengthen Quebec's cultural fabric.
